I think your question about engaging teaching strategies will be fun to try! I feel like we have gathered so many engagement strategies during our graduate work at RIC. A piece of data that you might use for question 1 is to interview other teachers about what strategies work for them. Maybe the students on your team are already using a strategy in another class that will get them more engaged.

Note that Kohl says that resistant learners have reasons for their resistance. What might you ask that could get at that question? And do you think engagement = learning? That seems to be the assumption here. I'm not so sure. At any rate, I like how you are working to reframe your questions from last week!
